Female Boko Haram arrested in camp raid helping soldiers with information

Officials of the Nigeria Army said a woman arrested during a military raid of identified terrorists' camps, who is believed to be top member of the Boko Haram, is currently is currently helping with vital information about her group.

Soldiers said the woman who was picked amongst some of the terrorists that were arrested after a heavy gun battle that left many others dead, may have made revelation that could help soldiers net in top leaders of the insurgents that have so far caused the death of over 200, 000 people in the last three years.
Confirming this development in a statement released to the media, the spokesman of the Nation's army, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said the squealing woman was nabbed when "the advancing troops of 5 Brigade Task Group have today cleared 5 more terrorists camps at Hausari and Baranga in Marte Local Government Area of Borno State.
Colonel Usman who is an Acting Director Army Public Relations said "The troops, during an encounter with Boko Haram terrorists at the camps, killed 2 terrorists and recovered 2 Dane guns and a Double Barrel gun, while 12 motorcycles abandoned by some fleeing terrorists were destroyed. In addition, a suspected female member of the terrorists group was captured and is currently undergoing interrogation.
In a related development, and in the efforts to continually dominate recovered territories and clear all Nigerian territory of Boko Haram vestiges, the advancing troops o troops of 28 Task Force Brigade on patrol between Bitta – Yamteke in Borno State to block Boko Haram terrorists fleeing from Lagaran Fulani to enter sambisa forest, discovered 2 planted Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and successfully detonated them.
It will be recalled that troops of 5 Brigade had last month cleared and destroyed twenty terrorists camps at Kerenowa general area.
"We wish to state here that, while striving to stamp out terrorists from Nigerian territory, the troops remain committed to ensuring that they cleared and secure all known Boko Haram terrorists' camps and enclaves so that no terrorist infiltrates and return to any of the recovered areas".
Boko Haram have so far abducted more that 5000 women and girls in various parts of northeast Nigeria who they used as cannon fodder during battles or as suicide bombers in cities. Soldiers have in recent raid of camps rescued more than a thousand of females who turned out to be pregnant or have given birth to children whose paternity may are likely traced to be of the Boko Haram terrorists.
Most of the females were said to have been sexually abused by the so-called Jihadists.
