Mubi; Fleeing polytechnic students lost in jungle, calling for SOS

Many students of the Federal Polytechnic Mubi,  a town seized by Boko Haram on Wednesday have lost their way and are presently trapped in jungles while trying to flee from Boko Haram attackers,  relations said.
The students in their large number are calling for help even as they lament hunger and thirst
A female resident of Maiduguri told this Blogger that her sister, names withheld, and some other students of the polytechnic are currently wandering in the bush.
"We saw a flash call from her phone number and when we called back we heard her crying and saying that they don't know the exact location they were but they were still wandering in bush", said the source who is a nurse.
"They are also crying of hunger and thirst".
She added that the sister asked for some call credit to sponsor that she could keep making contact as they move.
"We really fear for their lives and we pray that they should not run into Boko Haram terrorists while in the bush.  But our little relief is that they still have access to telecommunications network, which suggest that they may not be far from some town. She had to put off her phone from time to time to conserve her phone battery ", said the worried nurse.
Mubi is the home town of Nigeria's chief of Defense,  Air Marshall Alex Bade.  Boko Haram terrorists now have their flags hoisted there in what appear to be apparent undermine of Nigeria's military might.
