Suspected Boko Haram terrorists had yesterday attacked a local market in Miringa village of Borno killed two traders and looted items worth thousands of naira, security sources said.
Spokesman of the local Vigilante Group of Nigeria, Abbas Gava, who confirmed the incident on p said the terrorists attacked Miringa at the time the village's local weekly market was in force.
"They attacked the market in Miringa shot at people, two died and many got injured; they a lot food items and wares in their truck and left.", said Gava.
Miringa is about 180km away from Maiduguri the Borno state capital.
