Security Officials In Maiduguri Alert Public Not To Panic Over Possible Early Morning Explosions/Shootings

Top security officials in Maiduguri, Borno State has forwarded members of the public to be calm should they hear any loud sounds of shooting or blast coming from part of Maiduguri,  Borno State capital,  as such was to be a friendly firing. 

The sounds may be heard any moment from 7am today,  Friday. 

The security agents managing the ongoing insurgency have of late been taking all shades of preemptive strategies that has kept the city of Maiduguri and it's increasing residents relatively safe from the attacks of Boko Haram.

For sometimes now routine test firing of new and high caliber munitions is being carried out by highly motivated soldiers, police and air force.
