52 Boko Haram terrorists killed after attack on military base,as 12 soldiers, 4 police die
At least 52 members of the Nigerian home grown terrorists organisation, Boko Haram were on Saturday killed in Damboa town by soldiers during an attack on military base that left 12 soldiers and four police officers dead, witnesses and security operative said.
The terrorists had on Friday suffered heavy casualty after a fighter jet of the Nigerian Air Force raided one father camps not far away from Damboa town.
There attack on Damboa military base was all about reprisal over the previous day attack.
The insurgents, though had suffered heavy casualty at the beginning of attack later over powered the battalion of soldiers.
"They burnt down two APC's, several military vehicles and houses before leavening.
However, the military officials in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, said only five soldiers died and few others injured"
