GUNMEN ATTACKING VILLAGE IN NORTHEAST NIGERIAN , DISTRESSED VILLAGERS SAY
Distressed residents in Kautikari village about 7km west of CHIBOK where Boko HARAM, terrorists had abducted over 200 schoolgirls on 14th April, had called at about 9:30am today asking for help as gunmen believed to be of the BOKO HARAM terror group were attacking.
A text message from a residents reads "Massie attack on Kautikari now! All security agencies should be notified; and call for divine help now".
Security operatives in Borno state have confirmed receiving similar distressed calls.
An officer of the Nigerian secret police, DSS, who spoke anonymously said "action is being taken". But can not describe nature of attack "for now"

ECHOES' Reporter was told that some of the villagers from other neighboring hamlets have fled into CHIBOK town in fear of the attacking spilling to their own neighborhoods. CHIBOK town is the headquarters of the county area known Chibok-Local government.
